Hey There,
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we carry a very special line: Think Pink! & "Save the Boobs," they are locally designed & happen to be the brain child of one of our very own Foxtrot "local jewelers." All proceeds go to the Suzan G. Komen foundation, Foxtrot doesn't make one penny monetarily, nor do the gals of Think Pink!, but we gain much in knowing, hopefully someday soon there will be a cure for cancer. We have raised a ton of money and will be having an award ceremony for the Boise gals of Think Pink!, awarding them their monies raised, and following with an evening of delightful ways to embrace those who have fought, currently have, or those who lost loved ones to cancer.
Our local jewelers will also be in house featuring a "Bling Bling" party, with specially hand made pieces that support cancer research. We will have a full bar, lots of food, desserts that are laden with the Pink theme, and live music. We are currently working with getting the mammogram mobile bus here that evening too.
In Foxtrot's meager 9 months of business, we have lost two customers to cancer, currently have 5 who are fighting cancer. Cancer impacts all of us, and we see how important as a store owner, it has meant for those touched by cancer, what buying a supportive shirt means, or a hand made fuzzy hat, or that it's okay and you are welcome with your hair, without, we support you and so does the community.
When: Oct. 2nd First Thursday
Where: Foxtrot Style
What: 10% of all purchases the evening of Oct. 2nd will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Meet the gals of Think Pink!
Enjoy live music, full bar & delicious treats and plow through the jewels brought in for one evening only made by over 8 local jewelors
It is a very special evening for us, personally and as business owners. Knowing and supporting is half the battle against the many faces of cancer, even the support from purchases that support friends & family who are fighting such a hard battle. Our reality is that the circle of separation gets smaller and smaller everyday for each of us regarding cancer.
